Amazon has a lot of great products to help vestibular warriors, but these are the ones that I tend to reach for or recommend the most to my patients!

We use the weighted vest and balance pad often in the clinic to train our vestibular system, but it's really important to follow that with symptoms management, and both the migraine cap and ginger chews are excellent for that.

✨Comment SHOP below and I'll send you a link to Healing Vertigo's Amazon Page, where you will find these products, as well as many more, all organized into helpful lists ✨

Amazon Prime Days are going on right now, but act soon as they end tomorrow!

It's a double post day, and for a good cause - it's Day!

Shades for Migraine is about migraine awareness and the impacts it has on those who live with a migraine disorder.

Shades for Migraine shows an excellent image they call the Migraine Iceburg: what you see are a pair of sunglasses, but what's really going on behind those glasses looks a whole lot more like:
- Nausea
- Light sensitivity
- Missed family time
- Brain fog
- Mood swings
- Isolation
- Dizziness
- ER visits
- Anxiety
- and so much more...

Today we show that we care and wear our sunglasses for you 😎

Who else is tired of hearing these comments?! 🙅‍♀️

These are what I hear most often from my patients - but what else have you heard?

Venting safe space below! 💙

Let's kick off Migraine Awareness Month by talking about something that’s often misunderstood:

Vestibular Migraine isn’t just vertigo!

For many people, symptoms can begin long before the dizziness starts — and linger long after it ends. Fatigue, brain fog, neck tension, visual sensitivity, nausea, anxiety, and feeling “off” can all be part of the migraine cycle too.

Understanding the different phases of an attack can help you recognize patterns, reduce fear around symptoms, and better support your nervous system through the full process. 💙

That floaty, disconnected feeling can be really unsettling.

Wall grounding is one of my go-to techniques to help your nervous system feel safe again. It gives your body clear, steady input so your brain can re-orient and settle.

When you press your back and head into something solid, slow your breathing, and soften your jaw… you’re sending a powerful message: you’re supported, you’re here, you’re okay.

Try this anytime you feel:
- lightheaded or off-balance
- disconnected from your body
- overwhelmed or overstimulated

And if it helps, don’t skip the “bonus” — adding a bit of weight can make it even more calming 🤍
