The THMA family is devastated to learn of Joelle’s recent diagnosis — a rare and aggressive cancer that began in her hand and has already spread to her lymph nodes.

Joelle completed her THMA training with Jessica Jacob in Winnipeg in 2020, and in 2021 she opened L’atelier Medical Aesthetics in Kenora, Ontario, where she has built a thriving, respected practice grounded in skill, integrity, and compassion.

Our community is incredibly proud of everything Joelle has accomplished, and even more proud of the person she is. Moments like this remind us why the THMA network is so special. In a world that can feel overwhelmingly heavy, we continue to be lifted by the compassion, generosity, and genuine care that emerge when one of our own needs support.
