We’re hosting a Learn to Play for Arcane: The Eternal on May 2nd at 1:00 PM! 🃏⚔️
If you’ve been curious about this game, this is your perfect excuse to jump in, ask questions, and see what all the hype is about. 💫

Arcane: The Eternal is a trading card game homegrown right here in Nova Scotia 🌊🍁

This isn’t just “local” in a cute little way either. The game is produced right here in NS:
📦 packaging printed in Digby
🃏 cards printed in Truro
🌙 assembled in Cape Breton

A bunch of the artists are Nova Scotian, and the world of the game is packed with Maritime inspiration too. You’ll find locations inspired by Cape Breton beaches, the Cabot Trail, and even a major city inspired by Halifax. Centrica City’s architectural design was even done by a NSCAD student. 🎨🏙️
There are also subtle nods to the province throughout the game, including a card inspired by African Nova Scotian fantasy author Charles R. Saunders. 📚✨

And gameplay-wise? This thing sounds spicy. 🌶️⚔️

Arcane: The Eternal takes a lot of what people love about classic battle card games and cuts out a bunch of the stuff that makes you want to flip a table. 😌
❌ No drawing land cards
❌ No mana screw
✅ Just intense head-to-head creature battles where one direct hit wins the game

That means every turn matters. Every move matters. Every “uh oh” moment matters. 😈

Games can be super quick or go long depending on how the battle plays out, and every deck has its own thing going on. There aren’t factions either, so you don’t have that sad little moment of pulling a super cool card and realizing it doesn’t fit what you play. 🙃✨
At the same time, the big flashy cards still need smart deckbuilding around them, so it’s not just “throw in all the busted stuff and call it strategy.” 🌙🧠
