Good evening everyone.

Since the announcement last week that we will be entering phase five, I have been torn with thoughts and ideas of how I feel and how I will move forward.

Back and forth and back and forth I go. It is up to salon owners to do what is best for them. We have been advised by the Cosmetology Association to keep masking, social distancing and sanitization policies in place. Therefore I will follow these recommendations for the time being. I have been nervous of another lockdown since things opened up in NB and PEI, and now Canada and the world, and think there is still a possibility of this happening this fall.

I will reassess in October and may change things then, time will tell. I hope you all understand that I am doing this to keep us all as safe as possible.

Just a heads up about the upcoming HST charges.

This will start on May 1st, not March 1st as originally expected. This will be added to all services and products.

There will be no price increases at this time, just the 15% HST.
