Did You Know: On this day, June 14th, one hundred and five years ago, Dartmouth resident Jennie Dill arrived in Vancouver, having walked the entire way from Halifax with her husband 😮 Their journey took 134 days and was part of a competition against two other teams of walkers vying for the $500 prize.
Jennie Dill and her husband, Frank, were the first to arrive in Vancouver, despite having left Nova Scotia after the other teams.

This would make Jennie Dill of Dartmouth the first woman to walk the length of Canada! 🚶‍♀️‍➡️🇨🇦🎉

We here at London Rubber Stamp can't help but wonder if the walking teams hiked past our shop all those years ago as they set out for all parts West?
