A special moment for us at Modest Tree this week.

We were invited by our friends at the Canadian Naval Memorial Trust (CNMT) to support their presentation at Evenings at Government House, hosted by His Honour The Honourable Mike Savage, ONS, Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia, and Her Honour Ms. Darlene (Killen) Savage.

CNMT delivered an outstanding presentation on HMCS Sackville and the Battle of the Atlantic—a story that means so much to our region and to Canada.

Our role was to share—for the first time publicly—the Digital Preservation work we’ve been doing to help capture the Sackville in detailed 3D, ensuring her story remains accessible long into the future.

A big thank-you to CNMT for trusting us to support such a meaningful evening. It’s an honour to play a small part in preserving the legacy of Canada’s Naval Memorial.
