Deadline Approaching - Seasonal Tourist Business Designation Program

TIANS has been advised that Property Valuation Services Corporation (PVSC) will be sending application packages to businesses currently enrolled in the Seasonal Tourist Business Designation program (STBD) in mid-July to renew their program participation for the coming year.

Through STBD eligible seasonal tourism businesses can benefit from a reduced commercial property tax rate through Nova Scotia's Seasonal Tourist Business Designation Program.

If your restaurant, accommodation, or campground business is eligible, now is the time to prepare to send/renew an application as operators must submit a new application each year.
