We still have a few spots left in our Teenz Camp, which meets once a week for fun summer adventures like paddleboarding, kayaking, food adventures, and so much more!

🌱 Community Garden Update 🌿
Our community garden is open and welcoming community members who would like to grow their own plants, learn gardening skills, and connect with nature and neighbours. We currently have garden beds available for community members who are interested in growing vegetables, herbs, and flowers this season. Whether you’re a beginner or have gardening experience, this is a great opportunity to get your hands in the soil and be part of a shared growing space.
🌼🌿 Learn & Grow With Us
Our garden coordinator will be available each week to support, answer questions, and share practical tips on planting, maintaining, and harvesting your garden. It’s a great chance to learn step-by-step how to grow your own food and build confidence in gardening.
📅 Weekly Garden Coordinator Drop-In Schedule: Monday- Thursday 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Come by during these times to ask questions, get support with your garden bed, or simply learn something new. We’re excited to grow together this season, one seed at a time 🌱

Team Family SOS had an amazing time participating in and volunteering at the 2026 Medavie Blue Nose Marathon!

We loved cheering on the Doctors Nova Scotia Youth Run and being part of such a fun community event. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we raised $1,321.32 to help support our essential programs.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, and cheered on Team Family SOS. Together, we are creating stronger, healthier, and more connected communities.

Summer Camp registration is now open!

Family SOS Summer Camp is for children ages 5–12 and will run in two blocks this summer:

☀️ Block 1: July 6 – July 30
☀️ Block 2: August 4 – August 26

Camp runs Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will include games, outdoor activities, crafts, community outings, and lots of summer fun!
