It's World Bee Day! World Bee Day has been celebrated annually on May 20th since 2018 as declared by the UN General Assembly.

May 20th was selected as the date to honor the birthday of Anton Janša, a Slovenian beekeeping pioneer and renowned bee expert.

This year's theme: Bee engaged in pollinator-friendly agricultural production.

What does the theme mean? That we support our farmers in protecting bees and other pollinators, through evidence-based agricultural production practices.
