Well, that was a first! 🎥✨🤗
About 6 months ago, I got an email asking if I’d like to be featured as an activity on an upcoming episode of The Places In Between... and of course I said YES! 🤩
Hosted by Sarah and Clare, The Places In Between follows the duo as they travel around Nova Scotia, staying in the cutest Airbnbs and experiencing fun local activities in each destination. Every episode features a new place to stay and new adventures to try, and I was so thrilled when they asked me to be the featured activity for the Halifax episode!
I won’t lie, I was both excited and nervous! I’ve never filmed for TV before, and seeing all the cameras, lights, microphones, and production magic come together was both fascinating and a little intimidating.
Thankfully, whenever I stumbled over my words, I could remind myself, “That’s what editing is for!” 😂
Getting a behind-the-scenes look at how a TV show comes together was such a cool experience, and I was blown away by the professionalism and kindness of everyone involved.
A huge thank you to Jane, Kristen, and the teams at Firefly Digital Media and Arrow & Knot Productions for making me feel like a movie star for the day. ⭐️
Now I can’t wait to see the final episode! As they say, waiting is the hardest part! ✨🌈🤗

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of facilitating a colour analysis class for the students at the Regency at CBBC Career College, our local training salon and esthetics school. For three wonderful hours, we connected, chatted, and dove into the world of colour together.
I shared a presentation on what colour analysis is, why it matters, and how I approach the process with my clients. We explored high-level concepts like harmony, alignment, undertones, and how the right colours can enhance not only appearance, but confidence too. The students were so engaged, asked incredible questions, and brought such wonderful energy to the room.
My favourite part was going through all 15 students and doing quick mini readings of their undertones, best palettes, and metallics. Watching their reactions and seeing those little “aha” moments was so much fun. Tbh, I’m not sure who enjoyed it more, me or them.
To all of these beautiful women beginning their journeys in esthetics and cosmetology, I wish you so much success and inspiration ahead. Thank you for welcoming me into your classroom and sharing your curiosity and excitement with me.
I’d love to be invited back again next year ❤️🌈🥰
