Too Smart Dogs

A few weeks ago, after coming home from the lake/swimming, Sonny had a MAJOR limp.

His walking went back to (somewhat) normal (dogs are experts at masking pain!) but we still took him to the vet to get checked out. She did a thorough physical assessment & found reduced range of motion in his left hind leg & narrowed it down to his iliopsoas (the muscle that connects the spine and rear leg.)

He’s been going to physio weekly & is making improvements, and should be back to some normal activity in a couple of weeks time.

But, in the meantime, we’re finding creative ways to keep his brain and body active. If you’re interested in knowing other things we do while the dogs are injured, let me know below & I’ll try to put more videos together 😊
