BETTER MORNINGS 🌞 πŸ’§ 🀫 πŸ₯š
Most of us have a similar routine in th3 morning, up, shower, get dressed, get ready, make a coffee, maybe eat breakfast and if you have kids it can be even more hectic.
Here are some tips to ensure you are starting your day off on a bright note:
HYDRATEπŸ’§ I can't stress this enough. So many of us are dehydrated and when we first wake we are dehydrated from sleeping therefore its essential that we hydrate with high quality mineralized water. Try trace minerals, electrolytes or sea salt mixed in a large glass of water before you consume anything else.
GET DIRECT SUNLIGHT 🌞 Sometimes we go directly from the house to the car to work with no exposure to sunlight. We wake up in the dark and go to bed in the dark, especially in winter. When you wake, be sure to get in the sun as early as possible to signal your body it's daytime.
BE STILL😌 So many times we wake up and rush to get out the door. Wake up a bit earlier to start your day in a calmer manner and sit for a moment to really think about what you want your day to look like.
HAVE A NUTRITIOUS BREAKFAST πŸ₯£ Be sure to start your day with a good quality protein, carbohydrate and fat so that your body and brain 🧠 are ready to function at their best.

HOW ARE YOU'RE VITAMIN D LEVELS?
The best way to know is to get them checked by your Dr. through bloodwork, which normally costs between $30 to $40. Why it's not covered, I don't know πŸ€”Β  Vitamin D is a fat soluble (accumulates in fat tissue) and is important for proper immune function, mood, bone health and inflammation levels etc. This vitamin requires other minerals for optimal balance and has been found to act closer to a hormone because of its impact on the body. It is synthesized from the sun and can be found in food and supplements. Stick to D3 when choosing a supplement. Also, consider working with a practitioner to determine how much is appropriate for you.
Struggling with immune system, sleep, mood, inflammation etc.? DM to book a call to connect, or you can find me practicing .
