Start putting yourself first!

How many times have you heard the phrase or made to think that “You’re too much?”

Do you find yourself stifling who you really are? Or ”putting a lid” on your personality so you don’t let another feel overwhelmed.

It’s time to stop.

You’re allowed to be your true self.

You deserve to be your true self.

So Let Them

Let them “Go Find Less”

If you’re “Too Much” they deserve less.

Be You

To put it plain and simple I’m done with feeling like crap. Women of a certain age; perimenopausal, over 40, menopausal, etc etc etc. are bomb barded with fitness and wellness tips on a daily basis, every time they open their phone to a social media app.

You must do this for this reason or change this by doing this. It gets to be too much, we are overwhelmed and need to step back.

Well here I am, I’m back. Those who’ve followed me for awhile may have noticed a lack of posting, I was burnt out. I had seen some great results with my previous company and I was feeling great, then the inevitable happened, I went perimenopausal and then hit full menopause. Yes, at a younger age than most, thanks genetics. With it came a whole host of issues. I gained back all the weight I had lost and then some, my energy levels depleted, and I felt like crap, pain after pain started appearing.

I tried following some of the “experts” advice but wasn’t seeing results, I’d go down a bit and then gain it back. My body is so full of inflammation from the years of chronic pain. There’s gotta be an answer.

Sometimes we have to ignore the experts and just do what feels good to us, what feels right. I started by introducing hormone balancing supplements to my diet, now it’s time to begin moving my body again.

So I went back to basics. A favourite trainer of mine did a reel rating his programs from easiest to hardest so why not follow it. It was a perfect example of a way to start simple and gradually increase intensity. So today I started with Hip Hop Abs and I’m feeling great.

Let’s see where the basics gets us.
