Hobbes and his four siblings were born to a barn cat around April 19th and are about 3 months old now. He is very friendly, loving and sweet and would do well in a home with children, other cats and cat friendly dogs. If the home does not already have a cat or dog he needs to be adopted as a pair with another kitten because young kittens should not grow up as only pets. Hobbes has his age appropriate vaccinations but will have to be returned to New Hope for his neuter, microchip and any remaining boosters when he is old enough. Maggie was surrendered due to her owner's health. She is 5 years old (born January 9, 2021) and has the most beautiful green eyes. She is a chunky girl at 24 lbs and is looking for a home that will help her lose some weight! She was very upset when she first arrived at the shelter, but is slowly settling in and starting to enjoy attention and pets. She will still let you know when she's had enough, so her new family will need to be patient and let her come around at her own pace. She needs a quieter home without children and probably without dogs; she had never lived with cats before but has been doing fine with her feline roommates at the shelter. Maggie is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200.
