Diyode Community Workshop
Downtown Guelph had a golden egg hunt over the weekend… and we kinda felt left out 😢
So we made our own Golden Egg! 🥚✨
Then we hid it in one shop downtown Guelph!
and inside it? A 1 month membership to Diyode Community Workshop.
To redeem the voucher, be the first person to find the egg and bring it and everything inside to us at 700 York Rd, Guelph. Optimally during our Monday Night Open House . If you can’t make that time DM us or send an email to [email protected]
Find it! Bring it to Diyode! Make cool stuff!
Happy hunting 🔍🥚
We’re excited to host Collective Movement Building with Sundance Commons 🌱
What does it actually take to build a cooperative, collective, or community incubator? Now what about without major funding?
On April 18th, from 12–3pm, Cheyenne from Sundance Commons is sharing a transparent, real-world look at what it took to build a thriving, values-driven organization from the ground up. Starting with no property, no traditional startup capital, just people and a purpose to rally behind.
This session is for anyone thinking about starting something community-focused, interested in discussions around organizing or looking to grow what they’ve already begun.
The session is Pay-What-You-Can and open to organizers, makers, and community builders.
Spots are limited! RSVP through this link - https://forms.gle/G71U7G6reV8uZZb28
Build something together.

See you at the workbench! 🪚
Long before the internet, there was 2600 Hz, a tone that cracked open the phone system and gave birth to a generation of hackers. 2600: The Hacker Quarterly didn’t just report on the underground; it became the underground, a photocopied manifesto of curiosity, rebellion, and code that’s been turning the world inside out since 1984.
From early roots to today’s digital activists, 2600 is where the curious build their own reality. It’s not about breaking laws, it’s about breaking assumptions, exposing how systems really work, and reminding everyone that information wants to be free.
We are hosting a 2600 Meeting on the first Friday of every month starting at 7pm, at 700 York Rd. No registration is necessary!
