We're hiring a Practical Welding Teacher to join our team at Lightspeed Welding and Training - a Division of LJP Skills Training.

As Practical Welding Teacher, you will be responsible for training and teaching students general welding skills including GMAW, SMAW, pipe welding, and skills upgrading, helping to prepare them for a career in welding and fabrication.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional, high-quality welding instruction in various techniques in alignment with curriculum materials
- Instruct students in safety procedures, industry best practices, and the safe use of welding equipment
- Provide hands-on training and supervision
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
- Maintain welding equipment
- Organize and ensure safety of training facility

Qualifications:
- At least 5 years professional welding experience in:
-- CWB all position multi-processes
-- TSSA all position
-- Multi-processes in plate and open root pipes
-- Various pipe sizes
- Blueprint reading is considered an asset
- Previous teaching experience considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Solid understanding of welding safety procedures and industry regulations

This is a full-time position on site at our location in Guelph, Ontario. We offer a competitive salary, negotiable based on experience. On-the-job teaching training is available for candidates with the right credentials.
