🚨 We are hiring Field Service Technicians 🚨

Big Oil Rentals is a family owned and operated oilfield rental company located in Grande Prairie, AB. We looking to add a couple Field Service Technicians to our team immediately.

General duties of a Field Service Technician typically include the following:

Equipment Setup and Rig Out: Responsible for setting up, rigging up, and rigging out oilfield equipment such as wellsite trailers, office trailers, combo units, sewer containment, generators, fuel skids at the job site.

Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure it is operating efficiently. This includes troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues.

Record Keeping and Reporting: Document maintenance, repair activities, and inspections. Submit detailed field tickets and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.

Safety Compliance: Follow safety procedures, wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and ensure compliance with industry safety standards and regulations at all times.

Emergency Response: Be on call to respond to equipment failures or emergencies at any time, ensuring quick resolution to minimize downtime.

Company Vehicle Use and Towing: Knowledge with towing trailers and securing loads would be beneficial. Able to communicate clearly for two way radio communication on oilfield roads.
