Yesterday my heart was reminded of what truly matters. I volunteered at Wild Rose Manor, helping the residents with their hair and makeup for a special glamour photoshoot. 💇‍♀️💄✨ As I worked, I met the most beautiful souls — filled with life, laughter, and decades of stories. They opened up about their children, their marriages, their grandbabies, and the long hardworking years they spent on the farm before life brought them to town.
Their wisdom reminded me that the most precious things aren’t the big moments we chase, but the simple joys and quiet love we’re still talking about even at 95 years old ❤️
I left there with full eyes and an even fuller heart. These beautiful elders didn’t just get a glow-up — they gave me one too. Grateful for the gift of their time and their stories and all the ladies who pitched in to make this day happen
