Just felt like highlighting this comment, it stood out to me. There is so much to be said about passion. 🖤
For me, I’ve always been building businesses. What’s cool, is helping people build their business, people you care about - and sharing their passion through your own passion.
I’m so lucky.

Look. Every day, I’m one of (probably) many women experiencing imposter syndrome.
Rather than to succumb to the silly self-doubt - I thought I’d lay it all out there instead. ✌🏼
There’s no fancy degree, or crazy amount of student loan debt (oop) to back my business - in fact, I took one semester of post secondary (including some marketing courses!) and knew right away that it wasn’t for me. 🙋🏽‍♀️
When the textbook was talking all things analysis, radio, and television ads, I was not only bored, but doubted the education as a whole.
Now, there is a time and place, but I just knew I could hop on social media, learn the NOW of marketing, and just jump right in.
Did I jump right in? No. Instead I dabbled in a potential real estate career, started my own lash business out of my home (that I over-marketed and discovered my love of marketing, not lashing) and even ran a local boutique (hello TikTok virality, and I got a taste of what that could be like!) But… what did these all have in common? I realized I didn’t want to do the daily tasks involved in the above, I was there because I wanted to market social media content. Social media has always been a creative outlet for me, both personally and professionally.
This is all to say, I have no recognized accolades, no fancy piece of paper on my wall. What I do have is a natural know-how for the goings on in social media, because I have consumed content since my early teens, digested it, applied it. I followed the influencers before they were influencers. (Beauty gurus, hello!)
The first thing I tell my clients, is to not get stuck in the details. So here I am, letting you know that I don’t know all the answers, I’m not a gal that gets stuck on strategy.

Goal: Decorate our new chalkboard feature wall with mixed typography and illustrations.

All supplies will be provided, including ladder and liquid chalk pens.
