The YMCA Summer Work Student Exchange (SWSE) program offers 16- and 17-year-olds a unique opportunity to gain paid work experience, build confidence, and form meaningful connections — all while discovering a new region of Canada.

By living and working in another community during this six-week exchange, youth also strengthen their French or English skills and develop independence.

Applications for the 2026 program, which runs from June 27 to August 8, are open.

Group fitness classes at the Y are designed for all abilities. Move at your own pace, take options when you need them, and know you’re welcome exactly as you are.
