Meet Lily Verbeek, owner of The Daily Stitch! 🧶

Lily is one of Huron County’s 2026 Summer Company participants, spending the summer growing her business, developing new skills and sharing her creativity with customers in the community.

The Daily Stitch creates handcrafted crochet items, including cozy wearables, charming gifts and unique accessories. Every piece is thoughtfully handmade with care, creativity and attention to detail, making each item feel personal and one of a kind.

Through the Summer Company program, Lily is gaining hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, marketing, pricing, customer service and business planning — practical skills that can support her well beyond the summer.

We’re proud to support Lily as she grows The Daily Stitch and brings her handmade work to life here in Huron County.

This summer, help cheer on local youth entrepreneurs by following The Daily Stitch, sharing Lily’s work, purchasing a handmade item, or telling a friend who loves unique, locally made gifts. Community support can go a long way for a young business owner getting started. 💚

Meet Aaric Ritchie, owner of AR Detailing! 🚗

Aaric is one of Huron County’s 2026 Summer Company participants, using the summer to grow his business, build new skills and serve customers in his community.

AR Detailing is based in Bluevale, but provides mobile service to surrounding areas for local drivers who want to keep their cars, trucks and everyday rides looking their best. Aaric’s business is built on careful work, attention to detail and pride in a job well done.

Through the Summer Company program, Aaric is gaining hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, customer service, pricing, marketing and business planning, the kinds of skills that can support him well beyond the summer.

We’re proud to support Aaric as he grows AR Detailing and puts his business skills into action right here in Huron County.
