CFUW Georgetown extends warm congratulations to our 2026 Scholarship recipient, Amanda Weisbrot, an academically distinguished and community active graduate of Christ the King Secondary School in the AP Program. We wish her all the best as she starts her post-secondary adventure in Biology at the University of Western Ontario with ambitions to study medicine.

CFUW Georgetown extends warm congratulations to our 2026 Scholarship recipient, Tara Sexton, an academically distinguished and community active graduate of Christ the King Secondary School. We wish her all the best as she starts her post-secondary adventure in Concurrent Education at Brock University at the Intermediate Senior Level to become a high school French teacher.

CFUW Georgetown's Annual General Meeting on June 2nd was special. In our 55th year of fostering friendship and community engagement, we feted our charter members from 1971 and those who have been part of our club for more than 50 years. Surely a testament to our appeal.

CFUW Georgetown's Couples Outing Group enjoyed a fun evening at the races. The weather was fine, the horses were beautiful and the company superb. A few even brought winnings home!
