☆OLUWI7☆

Oluwikonok meaning 7 or on the pointing finger in wolastoqey is the solo musical project of Oluwi Aubin-Bérubé a Wolastoqew/Québécois from the deer clan and the community of Wahsipekuk. The goal of the project is to bring back old magical aspect of the Wabanaki culture into the modern eyes of today's music.

☆KATIE SCHURMAN☆

Originally from Embro, Ontario, 21-year-old Katie Schurman has lived in Fredericton for three years. Since diving into the local music scene shortly after her 19th birthday, she’s been honing her craft through open mics and writing original songs. Influenced by classic rock, Americana, folk, and country, Katie is now working on her debut album and plans to release music soon.

Every year we give a slot to one of our Fest Forward artists to perform at Paddlefest. This year, some of our participants from FEST FORWARD⏩️ 2023 played at this years Paddlefest 2024, Flacko Finesse!
