Took this pic cuz I felt cute in my new coat that I’d just bought and thought a cute selfie in the sunny parking lot would be perfect

This selfie ended up making me so self concious of my thighs cuz after how many years of thinking I still had the toned legs I had in my twenties, I had to face the stark truth that in my forties I’d lost most of my muscle mass

Chronic stress is a killer, and can completely change your appearance

So here’s your sign to post the pic, if for nothing else but to have something to look back on to mark your progress, I am working on me this year, and every year moving forward, as I spent far too much time on energy vampires
