High Council Cafe

For those of you that don’t know…opening this place has been a wild ride. Previous occupants - Chester Fried Chicken, left its mark on this kitchen. I personally wanted to start this project with a clean, fresh overhaul. Quite literally, my blood, sweat and tears went into this for half of 2023. We are ecstatic to be open in 2024 and serving home style cooking, stepping away from the heavy deep fried items. We are dedicated to serving you fresher food! If you like to cook, you know this takes work, time, love and passion. Full disclosure, I felt my creativity & passion slipping so I knew it was time for a break. High Council Cafe will remain open in my absence, however my AMAZING, albeit new team is still learning. Please be kind to them this weekend/next week! See you soon… So much love - Lena

High Council Cafe & Eat Best Charcuterie both donated product to this warm lunch! Healthy food shouldn’t be a luxury but unfortunately it is for many people ❤️ No one should go hungry, especially in the cold.

A Fort Frances favourite - Polonaise soup and other goodies will be served at Hallett Brewing from 11-2 today!
