This is just the beginning of a long journey, and we still have much work ahead to ensure this story of hope and strength is shared with the world.

September 30th may have passed, and the orange shirts may be folded away, but the work of Truth and Reconciliation does not end with one day. Lila Bruyere’s story must be told.

Tim Whiten has spent more than five decades expanding the possibilities of contemporary art in Canada. Last month, recognized that extraordinary impact by awarding him an honorary Doctor of Fine Arts at its 2025 Convocation.

Congratulations to Tim on this well-earned honour, celebrating a lifetime of artistic achievement, teaching, and cultural contribution.
