HOW TO SHOCK YOUR POOL‼️

"Shocking" your pool gets rid of liquid waste from your pool that is not filterable.(perspiration, cosmetics, urine). This can be done with an unstabilized chlorine product - ( liquid Chlorine or Granular shock) or an oxidizer.

Unstabilized chlorine must be added to the pool after dark to be fully effective. (use the full amount that's recommended or you will not gas off the waste.)

oxidizers can be used during the day and you can resume swimming in 15 minutes.

Shocking should be done on a regular basis depending on temperature and bather load.
