At 43 years old…
with a wife, 3 boys, a business, responsibilities, stress, and a brain that never shuts off…

the last thing I expected to change my life was my 10 year old son asking me to try Jiu Jitsu with him.

At first it was just about supporting my boys.

Now it’s become one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself.

Jiu Jitsu gave me:

* structure,
* discipline,
* confidence,
* fitness,
* stress relief,
* humility,
* better decision making,
* and a community of incredible people.

For an hour or two, nothing else matters.
Not the business.
Not the stress.
Not the pressure.

Just learning, problem solving, surviving, and improving.

And honestly…
rolling on the mats with my son is something I’ll probably value more than almost anything I accomplish in business.

Crazy how one small question from your kid can completely change your life.

“Dad, will you come do Jiu Jitsu with me?”
