First heat wave of the summer is rolling in! ☀️🌡️
Your trees and gardens feel the heat too, so here are a few friendly reminders:
Water deeply, not quickly. A slow soak helps roots get the moisture they need.
Mulch matters. A proper mulch layer helps keep soil cooler and holds moisture longer.
Watch for stress. Wilting leaves, early leaf drop, and browning edges can be signs your trees are struggling.
Protect yourself too. Stay hydrated, take shade breaks, and check in on neighbours, pets, and outdoor workers.
