Several NCA students and families are involved in this camp; students are having a blast learning about the world that God has spoken into being. We're grateful to be working with such likeminded ministries.

What an amazing second year of school it's been. The last month of classes was taken up with all manner of humane educational activities, including hatching chicks, fitness assessments, boys' PE successfully grading for their yellow belts, and a visit from the fire station. No children, no animals, and only one A/C unit were harmed in the events of these photos.
We've started the summer by reviewing applications and performing incoming student assessments. If you're interested in a rigorous, holistic, Christ-centered education for your children in grades 1-8, we'd love to hear from you.

Thank you to all who came out to join us for our year-end Spring Celebration of Learning and Excellence! Our students had a great time sharing the poetry, Scripture, and music that they have been working on this year, and it was a blast to be on location at the new campus.
Classes will wrap up this week, and we are looking forward to welcoming you back in September.

Students and faculty alike enjoyed an in-house workshop with the professional artisans of Queenston Pottery, a local studio and gallery. They taught us about all the processes involved in converting raw clay and shaping it into useful, beautiful handiwork. Students got to design their own cups, which are about to go into the kiln. Can't wait to see the finished products!

If you ever have students struggling to find something to do in dreary weather, consider arranging for a helicopter to do maintenance on the hydro tower down the road.
One of the most satisfying and entertaining moments for a teacher is seeing students teetering on the brink of understanding. In First Form, students are working towards, but haven't yet mastered, identifying all the parts of speech of English grammar:
Teacher: “Give me a sentence with a verb.”
Student: “We are having fun.”
“Good, what’s the verb?”
Student: “fun?”
“No, the verb. What are you doing in that sentence?”
Student: “tag”
