For NAIT Culinary Arts grad Shariff Rajpar, rediscovering his roots has transformed both his perspective and his career.
As a student, he wanted to focus on classical French cooking. But over time, and through a growing curiosity about his own identity, that began to shift.
Today, he’s reconnecting with his roots and reimagining those flavours in new ways, including a sold-out pop-up that blended Indian cuisine with ramen.
But for Shariff, the real impact goes deeper than the plate.
