It has been a while since we introduced ourselves, if you are new to our page, hello and welcome. We’re an established
team of doulas and educators supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the early days with a new baby and have been honoured to do so since 1998. At the heart of what we do is a simple belief, families deserve to feel heard, respected, and supported in their choices. We’re here to offer evidence-based information, practical tools, and steady, compassionate care so you can move through this experience feeling more prepared and confident.

Newborns move through different little states throughout the day.
Sometimes they’re deeply asleep, sometimes a bit wiggly in active sleep, sometimes just quietly taking everything in, and other times letting you know they need something. When you start to notice these patterns, it gets a little easier to understand what your baby is asking for and when they’re ready to feed, connect, or just be held and learning their rhythm over time.
