Toads Fibre Arts

This part of my life is called “fixing your mistakes”.
In my failed attempt to try and go to bed early last night, while laying with my eyes closed to try and fall asleep, it occurred to me how I could fix my f**k up in the warp and make the proper tartan pattern. And because AuDHD brain likes when things are perfect, I ripped out the part I had already woven, shifted threads on both sides of the pattern, and added the missing threads. Wove a little bit of it tonight and everything seems to be going well (yay!). We will make more progress tomorrow, once I get some sleep.

The Wallace tartan tea towels are finished! Time to move onto my next project, another tartan towel set. Slightly more complicated with more colour changes but I am going into it with much more confidence having done this one first. I have many weaving project plans once I complete this next one.

- Henderson tartan tea towels (for if any other family is interested, contact me for details so I make sure to warp enough for all)
- Tencel pillow cases
- Doublewidth tartan…? (Will need to seek help to plan this project)
- Witches of Scotland Tartan (at the request of my mama)

And I have hand knitted blankets I’m working on as well.
