parcel + prose

I’m having a moment of nostalgia from this time last year when the shop was full and I was busy wrapping up gifts and helping you fill your stockings.
I’ve encountered several people out & about in the city who used to frequent parcel + prose, and it’s been so heartwarming to hear some of the fond memories of my shop.
This year is very different for me, but I think about you all often, and I’m so grateful for the memories we made together.

My store has been closed for over 2 months now and in that time 2 more great gift stores have closed in my neighbourhood alone.

I’ve been driving around today and our city is so full of food establishments, coffee shops, cannabis store and pharmacies. We need more diversity. Small shops are dying & nothing’s being done about it. It saddens me.
