Junie B's Essential Survival Guide to School was an absolute delight and we have the first drop of pictures for you! Unbeknowst to the cast, MCS Theatre alumnus Kristin Breitkreutz was in the house for the matinee and took these amazing shots! For the past 8 years she has been taking photos on film sets and concert stages but she just moved back to Edmonton. She does portrait too!

Special moment today at McLeod school when this picture was taken shortly after Junie B was done. MCS Theatre alumni Daniel Rogers is a teacher there, but even more significant, when Daniel was in grade 12 he got a head start helping students by supporting another alumni Jaden Lake in his final show. Jaden has autism, Daniel and many other students served as buddies for three years to make musical theatre a part of his experience.

We know that some students and schools experience barriers when it comes to field trips and experiences, which is one of the reasons we started the travelling musical in the first place. Theatre as ministry. Bringing shows to schools, instead of them always coming to us. We are delighted that we have brought this program back.
