What is the difference between a ccTLD and a gTLD?
ccTLD stands for "country code top level domain". That is, the domains that are used by countries and ending with the respective country code.
gTLD (genereic top-level domain) on the other hand is a domain type that is not country-specific but paired with different classes of organizations. Examples of such domains are .com, .net, .org and .biz. For example .com stands for "commercial".
