Everyone Thinks Metabolic Syndrome is a “rare condition” that only applies to those who are obese.
There are now more people who are obese than people who are undernourished.

This means that insulin resistance is COMMON but that doesn’t mean it’s NORMAL.
Those who are normal weight will show symptoms of insulin resistance before obesity occurs.

I’m seeing a lot of women expecting doctors to have answers.
Doctors know about diagnosis and medication, period.
Trusting doctors with our health is how we got to where we are: diseased and confused.
I am the prime example: I was young, had multiple symptoms but no diagnosis and confused every doctor I saw.
The damage we create to our body by believing doctors need to heal us is evident. 𝟽𝟶% 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘴.
My health got better once I took full responsibility for my environment.

The first week of a calorie deficit is NOT. EASY. 👇🏽
Leptin is at an all. Time. Low. In the first 7-14 days of a 25% decrease in calories.
Leptin is the hormone that makes us feel full.
Here are some ways to get out ahead of cravings and set yourself up for success:
1️⃣Drink hot or warm lemon water or hot vinegar water
2️⃣Treat mealtimes like quiet time! No noise, chew slow, relax.
3️⃣Start a project you can focus on. Shifting your focus to something other than food is crucial.
