Change for Children Association

Change rarely happens all at once. It happens through partnerships built over time. Through teachers trying new approaches in the classroom. Through communities improving access to water. Through local leaders identifying priorities and working together to address them.

Community-led change takes time. It is worth it every time.

High in the mountains near the Guatemala–Mexico border, a new community water tank and communal washing station is nearing completion.

For families in Chemal I, the project will provide improved access to water while creating a shared space for gathering, connection, and community life.

The solar and technology installations in Livingston, Guatemala arrived by boat and were welcomed by many. The deployment was attended by our Executive Director in the company of the Mayor, representatives from the Ministry of Education, and leaders from Garífuna communities, reflecting strong local engagement and support.
