“Dear basketball, I miss you.”

This was taken back in February 2026. After this game, I felt fine—but the next day I started to feel strain in my right foot. I thought it would just go away on its own.

Two weeks later, I ended up in the emergency room, and the doctor said it was “weekend warrior syndrome” 😅—more technically, enthesopathy.

When my right foot started to feel better, the pain shifted to my left Achilles. Six weeks later, I tried to play again, and it came right back.

About six weeks later, I tried to play again, but it came right back. That’s when I finally decided to see my guy, at Optimize Physio (honestly, I should’ve gone there first). He previously help me with my knee sprain and I was able to recover fast and strong.

A few weeks into rehab now… I’m lacing up again tonight for a mini league. 🙏
