We finally got out camping. We’re in the Drumheller area. Popped into Wayne to check out The Last Chance Saloon. Charming place over here. Lots to do. Small town feels all around. Super friendly peeps. The Tyrrell Museum is an absolute must. If you’re looking to hit up Alberta this summer, consider this place.

I had a lot of doubts and negative things to say when Bowman was hired, but the guy had an incredible day yesterday. Nurse and his salary gone! Added two goalies and two very capable D. No overpay! Kapi is back as well. One of the best day an Oiler GM has had in a long time. Now let’s get Giroux.

Mike Babcock is officially the head coach. How we feeling about this Oiler fans?

My take: He hasn’t coached since before Covid and did not have any good measure of success with the Leafs. Were there not other coaches? Not to mention all that BS that comes with him.

But as a true fan, if he wins us a cup, I’m gonna tell everyone I always liked him.
