Happy Motherβs Day to every kind of mama π€
To the women who birthed, raised, nurtured, protected, and loved... not only the children from their womb, but also the souls who found home in their hearts.
To the mothers who got to hold their babies close, and to the ones who had to let them go far too soon.
To the single mothers & fathers carrying both roles with strength no one could ever fully measure.
To the aunties, sisters, grandmothers, chosen mamas, and women who mother through love alone... today is yours too.
To my momma, thank you for giving me lifeβ¦ and my forever best friends. Iβll forever be fascinated and deeply grateful that somehow, we all chose to experience this earthside journey together. What a blessing that is.
To my sister, thank you for teaching me softness, nurturing, and unconditional love without even realizing you were doing it.
To my girls: thank you for healing parts of me every single time weβre together. Your love has held me in ways words never could.
To my mom friends, thank you for showing me compassion, grace, and what it means to share the weight of love and responsibility together.
And to my friendsβ children, thank you for choosing this earth, and somehow choosing us as family along the way.
Today can hold joy, grief, gratitude, emptiness, love, or all of it at once. Whatever this day means for you, I hope you feel seen, held, and appreciated. π€
How did you celebrate with/for your momma today?

Happy Diwali! πͺβ¨
Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, marks one of the most cherished celebrations in Indian culture and heritage; a time when light triumphs over darkness and good conquers evil. Traditionally, it commemorates the return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya after 14 years in exile, welcomed by the glow of countless diyas lighting his path home. πΈ
In our family, the weeks leading up to Diwali are full of preparation and joy, and if im being honest, a sprinkle of chaos. (cause why not?) We begin by deep cleaning the entire house: a symbolic act of clearing away old energy to make room for blessings. Then comes the fun part: decorating with vibrant rangoli designs, shimmering lights, and diyas that glow through every corner.
Once everything feels just right, we start making the sweets and savory snacks that remind us of childhood: laddoos, gojiyas, sayna, and so much more! Each of the three days of Diwali, we hold small prayers at home. On the second day, we light the Yam Diya in the darkness, a humble act of devotion and remembrance. By the third day, the joy bursts into laughter, sparklers, and endless food, with my parents always cooking all our favorite dishes. π
Diwali isnβt just about lights... itβs about love, renewal, and togetherness. From our home to yours, may this season bring light to your path and warmth to your heart. πͺβ¨
