This kitchen got a major upgrade with a few smart changes that made a big impact. By removing a small wall, we opened up the space and created better flow for everyday living.

We added additional cabinetry, including a much-needed pantry cupboard, giving everything a proper home (goodbye clutter ). A tricky bump-out that housed plumbing and venting was seamlessly integrated with custom faux door panels—turning an awkward feature into a polished design detail.

The result? A cleaner, more functional kitchen that feels as good as it looks.

Before & After

This kitchen is proof that you don’t always need a full gut to get a fresh new look.

The original oak cabinets were still in great shape, so instead of replacing them, we gave them new life with paint—instantly brightening the entire space. By removing the dated sunshine ceiling and adding pot lights along with under-cabinet lighting, we completely changed the feel and functionality of the room.

Finished off with new countertops and a sink, this kitchen now feels light, bright, and refreshed… all with minimal demo.

Small space, big impact

By taking the cabinetry all the way to the ceiling and adding additional uppers, we maximized every inch of storage (no more wasted space!). A custom cabinet colour brought in a bright, cheerful feel.
