LSW Mourns the Loss of Our Beloved Interim Director of Greeting (D.O.G.), Jackson

At LSW Lighting, relationships are at the center of everything we do. Over the years we have welcomed many great people through our doors, but there are rare moments when someone becomes part of the spirit of the place itself. For us, that someone was Jackson.

We are saddened to share the loss of Jackson, our much loved Interim Director of Greeting (D.O.G.).

Jackson was impossible to miss. At 110 pounds, he had a strong and confident presence that filled the room the moment he arrived. Visitors quickly learned that the first introduction at LSW often came from Jackson. His job title may have been playful, but his commitment to greeting everyone who walked through the door was very real.

Anyone who knew Jackson also knew where his loyalty lived. He was almost always close to Cayley, watching carefully and making sure everything around him felt right. If you met Jackson for the first time, you likely noticed that his attention stayed focused on her. That loyalty was part of what made him so special.

Jackson loved being outside. Walks were never quiet or uneventful when he was around. Squirrels, rabbits, and even the occasional coyote could instantly turn a calm outing into a full adventure. Anyone holding the leash quickly understood that Jackson approached life with enthusiasm and determination.

Despite his size, Jackson also had a playful and social side. He enjoyed people and seemed to know when something interesting was happening. Gatherings, visits, or a busy day around the office often meant Jackson was right in the middle of it all, enjoying the attention and sharing his calm but confident presence.

Over time he became part of the everyday life at LSW. Many customers, friends, and team members came to expect his greeting when they arrived. It is a small thing, but those small moments often leave the biggest memories.

Jackson will be deeply missed by Cayley, her husband Robert, and everyone at LSW who had the chance to know him. His loyalty, personality, and quiet companionship left a mark on all of us.

Thank you, Jackson, for the years you spent welcoming people, standing guard beside your person, and reminding us how simple loyalty and friendship can be.
