Every now and then a song comes along that just can't be ignored. We have had our hands so deep down our musical jar of sounds and words for so long. We appreciate all of the love you have given us and will always try to reciprocate. The future unfolds before your eyes, every moment that you open them. Every step you take no mater how small will guide you where you need to be. Our steps have taken us here and we hope to see you and be remembered by you at our EULOGY. Its Lungbuttur day!! There will be 3 posts for everyone starting with first and foremost the official release of our 5th album "EVERYTHING FOR EVERYONE" with 18 songs and 2 featured artists. First I would like to thank everyone involved in the release of this album if it wasn't for the fans, LISTENERS and collaborators this would not exist.
3 decades from the beginning of a little garage band that started as 3 kids jamming out the name Lungbuttur was created when we passed a fat doobie around the room and I hacked my brains out while singing leading to someone yelling out "LUNGBUTTER".
Later I refined the name to be spelt out Lungbuttur with a UR instead of a ER to represent the 3 founding members as U, U and U in the name.
Creating a brand new word and spelling of it. My father later told me that the word spelt as it was ment forever welcome. There was no truth to that but we incorporated the meaning of it and it became the truth.
Now with 11 members throughout our history and 10 current members we have fully dawned the collective nature of many artists from around the world.
Bringing there unique perspective of music to one stage and keeping in contact with all past and present members reminding them that they are always a part of the Lungbuttur collective even if there not directly involved.
We are preparing our live shows to match the amazing sounds we have created together and we can't wait to bring our tour out to the road.
Like the times of old that can only happen with your support. If a song strikes you personally and brings you to a place of joy or helps you out of a place of misery then bring your friends there. Don't hide this amazing music from your ears. Listen objectively as the lyrics and patters have so much meaning in so many different ways.
