I made these!
Actually quite a long while ago. But they are copper pipes and quite heavy. They started to sag and eventually break.
This time I used wire first and then made knots all around the wires. It wouldn't suprise me if there were over 1000 knots in this piece.
Then last minute decided to beef up the bearings for the heavy chimes by wrapping a wire rope around the top circle.
Now the thought is over time the only thing that should need to get replaced because of weather damage is the small area that connects the pipes to all the hooks. (I couldn't make it all once piece as the wire muted the ring of the chime)

So if you've been following me for a bit, you know that I have recently narrowed the focus of what I am offering with my brand..... but that I'm also kind of struggling with the limitations 😆
I changed my page banner today (on fb) to include "Home Decor" I thought that was smart, it keeps me in the same specialty field but also widens my umbrella to be able to make unique things like this dish when I have time. (The thought is same sort of stuff I was making before, just more practical)
I have to use up my resin quick so that's how this happened. The dish itself is actually an old glass mason jar lid upside down. In the right light you can actually see CANADA in the bottom.
Also on Facebook, I posted the link to my marketplace profile where I have over 200 ads up. As well as the selling profile I've created to act as an "avaliable before I post on Marketplace" area. (It's like this blog, just a bit more personal)
