It’s crazy it’s been 3 years since we received the queens platinum jubilee medal!

Everytime I return to the Glenrose Hospital Foundation I can’t help but smile ear to ear and remember how much this building shaped me into part of who I am today!

Specifically this year as the foundation is raising funds & awareness to reopen the rehabilitation pool! Now to some this may seem like it’s just a pool but to me & countless other people it’s more than that! It was a light during some dark & difficult days recovering from surgery! It meant a sense of peace calming and freedom!

A place where you could block out all the white noise and just enjoy being one with the water! It was the place where for the first time in 6 weeks after surgery i could move my legs, where for a brief time I forgot I was in the hospital this pool is a sense of normalcy for many people over the years including myself!

April 18 we will host the foundation’s gala to help revive “home” but this is where we need your help and support! We are looking for sponsors to host tables or purchase tickets & enjoy a great night of entertainment stories and raising money for a local national treasure!!
