Give yourself so much grace. Take extra time. Get more rest. Eat healthy foods. Drink lots of water. Move. Cry. Take space.
Do what your body needs. Don’t judge yourself. Love yourself.
Grief is so fu***ng hard. Assault is so fu***ng hard. You are so fu***ng strong.
Grieving and parent in active addiction is challenging.
Grieving a parent who died in active addiction is a whole different experience.
Guilt. Shame. Blame.
Should have. Could have. What if? What now?
