Calgary Lockout

I think I speak for every member on Lockout and probably the whole Calgary paintball scene when saying how incredibly proud of Caleb I am. Caleb Thorsen has worked very hard to get to where he is today.

From day 1 Caleb has been a very focused, determined, committed young man. Caleb went from being completely new to playing Div 1 in Western Canada’s most competitive league almost instantly. Then came the 2016 NXL season where Caleb and I talked a lot about his goals and where he wanted to go with paintball and how we’d get him there.

Sure enough, we are sitting in the grandstands at NXL Vegas watching Edmonton Impact utterly destroy teams and Caleb tells me that his dream is to play with those guys and he’s going to do whatever it takes to make it happen.

After a year of early morning drilling, working out, winning 1v1 tournaments to sell the “prize gun” to fund his next NXL, he’s got his shot. And it couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy.

It hasn’t been easy, but it’s definitely been earned.
