Tomorrow is the Lemonade Stand Day for the Stollery children's hospital foundation. I'll be making lemon custard donut bites for my sons' stand and they will be available starting at 10am. Come on by 1244 Summerside Dr tomorrow to help raise funds for the children's hospital.

Thank you Summerside for such a great year! I've had lots of fun meeting and baking for you. Sadly, I have to close my kitchen down for a little while. I hope to open again after the summer.

It's been a heartbreaking week watching the news. My thoughts are with all of those who are affected by the conflict in Ukraine.

I was reminded by my kids that Santa is visiting shortly and I need to stay on his nice list. So I've been practicing my best to avoid being knotty.

Who's up for a fun little game? Closest person to guess how many pretzels this 20kg bag of flour will make will win a half-dozen pretzels.

Basic rules:
1- only one guess per person
2- if the correct number is not guessed, the closest to the correct answer without going over will win
3 - if more than one person guesses correctly, the first person to post will win
4 - most impressively incorrect answer will also win a prize (1 loaf of bread)
5 - contest will close Dec 5 at 8pm
