Observation:💚
We have been saved by grace through faith, not of works. Our salvation is a free gift of God to all who believe. We have been declared righteous by the Lord and showered with every spiritual blessing, simply because we have trusted in the shed blood of Christ for the remission of sins and life everlasting.

Is it any wonder that David was so willing to cry out with his whole heart, "I will bless the Lord at ALL times. His praise shall be continually on my lips." When we praise our Heavenly Father and glorify His holy name, the focus of our attention is removed from our own, limited life and petty predicaments. It gives balance to all we say and do.

God Himself knows the immense benefits that we enjoy when we turn our eyes away from ourselves onto the Lord Jesus and look full into His wonderful face - which is why Paul reminds us in first Thessalonians to, "rejoice evermore, pray without ceasing, and in everything to give thanks to the Lord, for this is God's will for us."

Reflection:💚
The Lord is worthy of our ongoing worship and devoted praise. He deserves our grateful thanksgiving and whole-hearted trust in every area of our life. And when He is the centre of our lives, we look to HIM and HIS power and abilities rather than our own inabilities... as we know that His grace is sufficient and His strength is made perfect in our dependent reliance upon HIM.

If it is our desire to bless the Lord at all times and under all circumstances, our heart needs to be right before the Lord. We need to be men and women after God's own heart - saying and doing only those things that honour His name, for He alone is worthy. And the more we spend time in His presence, in prayer, praise, and the study of His Word, the greater we will discover the benefits of blessing the Lord at all times and continually praising His holy name.

Knowing that we have been saved by grace through faith in Christ, let us bless the Lord at all times. "O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. I sought the Lord, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears...O taste and see that the Lord is good. How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! O fear the Lord, you saints of God for to those who fear Him there is no want."

Prayer 🙏
Heavenly Father, thank you for your word and the truths it contains. I pray that like David, I would bless you at all times and in all circumstances. I pray that I may develop an attitude of grateful thanks and worshipful praise in every area of my life - no matter how mundane the task may be. I pray that in all things and at all times I would seek to glorify you.

I hope you will find Jesus Christ this CHRISTmas because he is the God who will save us. We are always told that religion is not what will save us, what we need is a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Below are some in the Bible verses that say Jesus Christ will save us.

1 John 5:11-13 NIV❤️
11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

Eternal life is a gift from God to all who believe on Christ, not a reward for our work or a recompense for our merit.
Those who believe God's witness of Christ, have His resurrected life within, but those who have rejected God's witness are already condemned themselves, because they have not believed in the only begotten Son of God.

Never forget that it was the blood of Christ that saved us from the penalty of sin and it was the Cross of Christ that saved us from the power of sin. As believers, we are positioned IN CHRIST.

As believers, we are identified with Christ's death and so as believers, we were crucified with Christ. But also, as believers, we are identified with Christ's Resurrection and because He lives, we too shall live eternally, for He has broken the power of sin and death.

12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—

To believe in His name means to accept everything that the Bible teaches about the Lord Jesus Christ; that He was sent by God to pay the price for our sin; that He is the Word of God made flesh Who dwelt among us and died as the sacrificial substitute for the sin of mankind.

To believe in His name is to believe that Jesus is God incarnate: the Creator of the world Who came to earth as a Man to pay the price for our sin. To believe in His name is to rely on Him for the salvation of our soul, rather than relying on our own good works for the forgiveness of sin and life everlasting. No self-effort, cleverness, or merit is sufficient to make us right with God. It is only by believing in His name that He gives us the right to be called His children.

Jesus had a unique relationship with His Heavenly Father, for He was the eternal Son Who became a Member of the human race, but He also had a unique relationship with humanity, for He was fully Man and yet fully God. This hypostatic union of eternal deity with perfect humanity is found in one Person alone, the Lord Jesus Christ Who became the Head of a new creation and the Author of eternal salvation to all who believe on His name.

Christ was not born with a sin nature like the rest of humanity, and although fully God and having all the divine attributes of the Godhead, He had to learn obedience by the things that He suffered. And so we discover in this verse that Christ was not only perfect, but also made perfect. He was perfected through the things that He suffered. Jesus was made perfect, and having been made perfect He became the source of eternal life to all who believe on His name.

Having to be perfected did not refer to any personal improvement, for He was already perfect in word and deed, action and attitude, mind and motive. It was not His essential attributes that required improvement, for He was flawless. The Lord Jesus had to be perfected in His office as the Messiah of Israel and Saviour of the world.

Although fully God, He had to learn how to live as a man under the guidance and direction of God so that He could fulfil the will of His Father. He had to acquire a full understanding of manhood and the human condition if He were to identify with men and become humanities substitute for sin. And so He laid aside His glory and lived His life as God expects all men to live; in total obedience to the guidance of God, not relying on Himself but learning obedience through the things that he experienced in His manhood. It was through His incarnation, obedient life, humiliation, and suffering, that He was made perfect. Jesus was perfected by the things that He suffered so that by means of His sacrificial death and glorious Resurrection, He could become our perfect Saviour.

Multiple passages tell us that salvation is by grace through faith in the death, burial, and Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, but here we read that He became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey. But how, we ask, is this apparent contradiction reconciled? Is eternal salvation conditional on faith or on obedience?

In Romans 1:5 we discover that the obedience that God requires of man is faith - faith in His Word. We read that the 'obedience of faith' is brought about by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. Paul was appointed by God: "To bring about obedience of faith among all the Gentiles for His name's sake."

And Paul concludes His Roman epistle with these words: "Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which has been kept secret for long ages past, but now is manifested, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, has been made known to all the nations, leading to the obedience of faith; to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, be the glory forever. Amen."
